Our lives are so fast-paced spent in air-conditioned buildings that taking off on a holiday to sleep in another air-conditioned hotel room doesn’t do much for a rejuvenation of the spirit or body. Whether traveling alone, with a group of friends or family, a campground or camping site/location is easy to find from directory listings but safety should be your top priority. Some camping locations are set up for those on a cycling or hiking tour wanting to make a brief stopover. So, you can plan your holiday the other way round also and use only a few days for camping out while spending the rest on cycling or hiking.
